The European Center for Ethnic, Regional and Sociological Studies is a member of the University of Maribor that aims to perform research of interethnic relations, regionalism and specific sociological issues, especially from the point of view of recent political changes in Central and Eastern Europe; and to study the activities of European international organizations and institutions and non-governmental organizations regarding human rights, protection of minorities and regionalism.
