Gender, Migration, and Governance

This report discusses implications for policy and training that emerged from the conference, ‘Gender, Migration and Governance in Asia’ that was held on 5-6 December, 2002, at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. It is aimed at providing policy makers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other parties with suggestions for effective policy making and training planning to improve conditions under which many migrants work in Asia.
