IMES is an interdisciplinary institute at the University of Amsterdam integrating existing research efforts and initiating new projects in the field of international migration, ethnic processes and social inequality (focusing on Dutch and comparative European studies), providing graduate and post-graduate training, and publishing research findings in its own IMES series. Current online services include an overview of current and completed projects, names of staff members involved, and lists of publications.
