The new Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) comes into effect today. This is a brief document that explains what services are covered under the new IFHP. This is not an officially authorized summary, and there may be errors. IRCC has said that even existing IFHP certificates will not need to be renewed, as long as they expire after April 1, 2016. Coverage will automatically be extended in these cases.
